Exceptional
Craftsmanship

I took a very non-traditional path to get where I am today.

Some would say it was destiny given my father’s beloved hobby of woodworking when I was a child. Or, it's because I have always been fascinated by the beauty that mother nature displays through trees. Regardless, art and craft were always pivotal in my life, yet, I had never dreamed of becoming a professional woodworker.

After highschool, I got a bachelor's degree in Criminology. From there, I joined the U.S. Coast Guard in hopes of being a Rescue Swimmer. After 5 years of active duty, I decided against re-enlistment. Upon completion of my military contract, I felt lost and was unsure of the career path I wanted to follow. In the process of transitioning jobs, my wife and I purchased our first home in 2017 that required a major renovation which we ambitiously took on ourselves. At this point, I rediscovered my passion for making things and working with my hands. I had hit a fork in the road. I could continue the path of working a "job" or I could find a way to turn my passion into a way of life.

I have found a divine purpose in the work I do by upcycling locally salvaged trees into custom furnishings.

Founding Millcraft has allowed me to use my creativity to fabricate pieces that will be cherished by families for generations.

Whether it be a one-of-a-kind dining table that families gather around during the holidays, or a simple floating shelf that displays photos of loved ones; our work always invokes memories. Inspired by the unique characteristics that each piece of wood provides, I feel an obligation to represent these qualities at the highest level to fit each client's request.
